1. PAYMENTS & CONFIRMATIONS

In order to confirm your reservation, we require full payment BEFORE check in. Reservations are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation either from our sales team or a booking agent.

 

2. CARD HANDLING CHARGES

Debit Card - No Charge.

 Visa and MasterCard - 3% card handling charge.

 American Express - 5% c card handling charge.

 

3. ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT

All major debit/credit cards, American Express and bank transfers. Please note that your reservation will remain provision until payment has been received.

 

4. NO SMOKING POLICY

The Hansen Residence operates on a strict NO SMOKING policy and reserves the right to levy a £100.00 deep clean charge in the event of a guest breaching this house rule. Persistent offenders will be asked to leave, their booking cancelled without any refunds given.

 

5. APARTMENT UNAVAILABILITY

Should The Hansen Residence be unable to fulfil its obligation in terms of your booking, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and will offer you a full refund or an allocation to the property of a similar standard. Under such circumstances The Hansen Residence’ liability will be limited to the payment received for the accommodation booked with us, and now being cancelled. 6. CANCELLATIONS

Reservations are not changeable or refundable.

 

7. ALTERATIONS

Alterations may be accepted at the discretion of management and if acceptable may be subject to a rate change and/or administration fee.

 

8.1 EXTENDING YOUR STAY

Extensions will require a new reservation for the additional date(s), subject to availability and are subject to possible rate changes. All extensions MUST be made at least 24 hours prior to original check out date/time.

 

8.2 EXTENSIONS (UNAUTHORISED)

Extensions that have not been authorised will result in a £250.00 (GBP) charge to cover the inconvenience and disruption to The Hansen Residence and other guests/clients.

 

9. COMPLAINTS

The Hansen Residence has made every reasonable effort to ensure the freshness, quality and value expected by you of your stay with us. However, should you wish to raise a complaint we would welcome this during your stay so that we may be given a reasonable opportunity to remedy the situation. To do this please get in touch with our office staff and you will be provided all required info in order to issue a complaint.

 

10. EARLY CHECK-OUTS

Should you wish to depart earlier than your intended check-out date please inform us prior to your departure. If you wish to depart outside reception working hours, please ensure that keys are posted through the letterbox of the reception door. It is essential for us to know this for health and safety reasons.

 

11. LATE CHECK OUTS ON THE DAY OF DEPARTURE

The Hansen Residence provides a late check-out service which has to be arranged and confirmed with our reception staff upon check-in. If the guest decides to use the late check-in service without informing and confirming with working staff, actions will be considered as unauthorized check-out which will lead to an additional charge of £30. 12PM Late check-outs are free of charge for families with kids under 6 or guests with disabilities and are also required to be affirmed in advance.

 

12. INFORMATION

Most of the accommodation information provided on 3rd party sales agent websites is provided by The Hansen Residence, but is subject to adjustment by said 3rd party. Whilst every care has been taken to ensure that all information provided is accurate, The Hansen Residence cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions it may inadvertently contain.

 

13. COMPLIMENTARY WIRELESS INTERNET (WIFI) TERMS OF USAGE

Guests/clients agree that by using The Hansen Residence complimentary WIFI service they agree to be responsible for any content browsed or downloaded.

These ‘wireless internet usage terms & conditions’ are applicable in addition to the standard terms & conditions of The Hansen Residence. Acceptable Use Policy and Fraud and Abuse Protection. For the avoidance of doubt, these terms and conditions, subject to the amendment provisions contained therein, shall continue to apply as long as the service is provided.

 

The wireless internet access provided is for complimentary use by guests/clients only.

Wireless access is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘’as available’’ basis and The Hansen Residence does not warrant that this service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Users should be aware that there are security, privacy, and confidentiality risks inherent in wireless communications and technology, and The Hansen Residence does not make any assurances or warranties relating to such risks.

 

By using this wireless internet access, a user agrees that The Hansen Residence is not liable for any costs or damages arising from the use of this service and The Hansen Residence does not control any materials, information’s, products, or services on the internet.

The User agrees not to use the service in violation of any laws or regulations applicable from time to time or to misuse the service in any manner deemed inappropriate by The Hansen Residence.

 

The Hansen Residence reserves the right to terminate the Users account at any time due to breach or non-compliance of any of the terms and conditions referred to above which are applicable and binding on the User at all times.

 

14. NO SINGLE SEX POLICY

Please note that The Hansen Residence does not permit single sex groups (sports teams, hen and stag parties etc). All our 3rd party sales agents are fully aware of this and should it be discovered prior to check in that your booking is for a ‘single sex’ group booking we reserve the right to cancel this booking.

In this instance a refund will be given, less an administration charge.

Please note that on very rare occasions, management reserve the right to waive this rule.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

15. WALK IN RESERVATIONS

The Hansen Residence does not accept walk in reservations. In order to secure your booking with us please do so in advance.

 

16. PLACE OF RESIDENCE

All guests/clients confirm that The Hansen Residence is NOT their principle place of residence, and that they are checking in and staying on a ‘hotel style’ short term accommodation basis.

 

17. OCCUPANCY

Only guests booked to stay at The Hansen Residence may occupy the booked accommodation. The number of guests permitted to occupy any given apartment is limited to the number of beds available in that apartment and that may not be exceeded.

 

18. UNANNOUNCE GUESTS

The Hansen Residence reserves the right to charge £100 per person for any additional guests staying that are not booked and paid for. Visitors are allowed only with mutual agreement between reception staff and night porters (if applicable).

 

19. DAMAGE LIABLITY

It is expected that the apartments are left by guests/clients in a clean and tidy order. Guests/clients are responsible for any damage to the apartment and its contents during their stay. Any damage must be reported to use without delay and you will be charged accordingly.

 

20. LOST PROPERTY

Any lost or left property will be help for 14 days and if it is not claimed will be donated to a local charity.

 

21. KEYS

All unreturned sets of keys will result in a charge of £50.00 (GBP) per set to your booking card. If keys are taken accidentally The Hansen Residence agrees to issue a full refund for the said charge when guest reports the incident and posts unreturned keys to our reception within 24 hours.

 

22. ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

Should your behaviour affect other guests, which results in refunds having to be given by The Hansen Residence, you will be liable to cover these loses. Anti-Social behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated and offenders will be asked to leave. If required local law enforcement officers will be called. Please be advised charges are applicable.

 

23. FIRE ALARMS

A £500.00 (GBP) charge will be levied to any guests who tamper with any fire alarms devices or extinguishes.

 

23.1 FIRE ALARMS

Should the fire alarm sound, leave your apartment immediately and follow the fire procedures displayed in and around the apartment and buildings.

 

24. AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY

Staff is on call to deal with any emergencies.

Please call the number provided at check in.

Should your call out be of ‘non-emergency’ (i.e.: lost keys) a charge of £75.00 (GBP) will be levied to your account.

 

25. INJURY LOSS/DAMAGE

The use of the apartment, building, stairs and all other communal areas contained within The Hansen Residence is entirely at the guests own risk and The Hansen Residence accepts no responsibility for injury, accident, damage or loss to person or property relating to the guest/client or and of his/her party during your stay with us. Guests should ensure they are adequately insured. Travel insurance is highly recommended by all tourism boards.

 

26. FORCE MAJEURE

The owner and the agent do not accept liability or pay compensation for any loss, damage or expense where are obligations are prevented or affected by reason of Force Majeure. Force Majeure means any event which we or the owner providing the service count not, even with due care, foresee or avoid – such as war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, epidemic, pandemic, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, closure of airports or ports, technical problems with transport, governmental action and all other similar events.

 

27. PRE-AUTHORISATION (DEPOSIT)

Upon arrival The Hansen Residence reserves the right to charge a £150 pre-authorisation deposit per apartment. This will be taken by either debit or credit card and may be withheld after the check-out should the apartment not be left in satisfactory condition. These conditions include but are not limited to; smoking indoors, unauthorised visitors, anti-social behaviour, unauthorised late check-out’s etc.

 

28. CHECK IN REQUIREMENTS

In order for The Hansen Residence staff to release keys to your apartment we require:

• Full payment.

• Valid e-mail address and phone number.

• Copy of a valid form of photographic identification.

• Lead guest whom is over 21 years of age.

• Pre-authorisation deposit of £150.

 

 

29 TERMS CONDITIONS FOR ALL PROMOTIONS AND FREE NIGHT STAYS

• Not valid on previous quotations received.

• Subject to availability.

• The invitation cannot be combined with any other discount or multiple offers.

• No price adjustments or partial reimbursements on previous purchases.

• The discount will not be applied to any amendments of existing bookings.

• Length of stay restrictions may apply.

• Some promotions may exclude weekend stays.

• Some promotions may exclude high season or peak dates.

• Subject to standard booking terms and conditions.

 29.2 FREE NIGHT STAYS

• Only valid to redeem on Sunday-Thursday night stays.

• Must quote voucher number or provide letter received in order to redeem a free night stay.

• The FREE night stay card must be presented at time of check-in. Failure in presenting the card will result in full charge.

• Not valid on high season or peak dates.

• Subject to availability.

• Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.

• Must be redeemed before the expiry date stated on your voucher.

• Free night stay offer is only available for the number of persons mentioned additional persons will be charged at standard rate.

• Subject to standard booking terms and conditions.

 

29.2 FREE NIGHT STAYS

• Only valid for the value given.

• Must show proof of credit given in order to redeem your credit.

• Not valid on high season dates, including but not limited to August, Hogmanay and Christmas.

• Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.

• Subject to availability.

• Must be redeemed before the expiry date stated on the confirmation emailed or posted.

• Subject to standard booking terms and conditions.
